Girls Softball Pitching Course with Coach Nikki Black
Stafford Baseball League is proud to announce that we are offering an 8-week girls softball pitching course to all softball players. This course is designed to turn girls who have never pitched, or have never even thought about becoming a pitcher, into pitchers. It will also make current pitchers better.
Coach Nikki Black will take students through this 8-week softball pitching course and advance in material each week. It is not eight individual clinics. You must attend all eight sessions to get the most out of this course.
The course will be as follows:
The Bowman Center
11900 Main Street
Suite # B105
Fredericksburg, VA 22408
(Do not park on the Main Street side of the building. Only park along Russo Drive and the back side of the building. Do not park in front of loading docks, and do not block trucks in.)
The three sessions in December will be conducted by age group
8U and 10U = 2:00 P.M. to 3:30 P.M.
12U = 3:30 P.M. to 5:00 P.M.
16U = 5:00 P.M. to 6:30 P.M.
The five sessions after the new year will be conducted by ability group
Beginners = 2:00 P.M. to 3:30 P.M.
Intermediate = 3:30 P.M. to 5:00 P.M.
Advanced = 5:00 P.M. to 6:30 P.M.
(After the first three sessions, Coach Black will tell you which group to attend for the remainder of the course.)
This 8-week pitching course if free to all SBL softball players. You must have been a registered player in Spring or Fall of 2016 to participate in the first three sessions. You must be a registered player in Spring of 2017 to attend the remaining five sessions. (Spring registration will open on January 1, 2017).
A pitching course of this nature would cost you anywhere from $400 to $800. Please take advantage of this free 8-week softball pitching course. This is one of the many benefits SBL offers our girls.
Please click the “MY Account” button in the menu at the top of this page to register. There is no charge but only the first 30 registrations for each age group will be accepted due to space restraints.
Pitching students need to bring their own adult catcher with them. A parent or guardian who will be working with your pitcher on your own is recommended.
